The difference between UBERTOOTH and other bluetooth development platforms is that it can not only send and receive 2.4GHZ signals, but also run in monitoring mode to monitor bluetooth traffic in real time. This working mode has existed in low-cost WIFI module for many years, and has been applied in research, development and security audit countless times, but until now, there is no such solution in bluetooth standard.
